aturday, June 11th, was a very busy day. At 11:00 a.m. in Ochre Pit Cove there were children's activities which included a duck race ,lunch and sing-a-long. The weather co-operated and there was a big turnout. There were prizes and loot bags for everyone.
Our 80th Anniversary Celebration Banquet was held in Western Bay at 6 p.m. 150 congregational members attended and a delicious Hot Roast Beef supper was served. Following the meal someone from each of the four churches on the Charge spoke about past memories of Church life. To end the evening there was also a wonderful slide show presentation that brought back many memories
