-Church News – Sunday, May 17th – 11:00 am – service will be held at McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Sunday, May 17th – 7:00 pm – service will be held at Ocean View United, Broad Cove. This will be a special service conducted by the Blackhead – Western Bay Men’s Fellowship Group. The theme of the service will be “Building a Lighthouse”. Tuesday, May 12th – 7:30 pm – the Ocean View U.C.W. will hold their regular monthly meeting. Wednesday, May 13th – 7:30 pm – Bible Study this week will be held at Ocean View United. Each week we will alternate between Ocean View and McDowell. Thursday, May 14th – 7:30 pm – Music Forum will be held downstairs at McDowell United, Western Bay. Saturday, May 16th - The Trustee Board of Ocean View United Church will be having a cold plate take-out. Cost $6.00 each. Suppers will be delivered by 12 noon. The McDowell United Church Trustee Board is asking anyone who is interested in the Janitors position for McDowell United to please contact Mr. Roger Gillingham.
